Tiger Tureen by Senzo Duma Ceramics

Thabo Mbhele sculpted this amazing tureen of four tigers posed around the base of the tureen.  He cleverly intertwined the tails to form the handles of the tureen.  On the lid, he created a mother tiger with her three playful cubs.  Mandla painted this beautiful piece is subtle neutral tones.  Some of the tigers a fully painted in natural coloration while others are in the shadows, in soft greys.
